About Me

Hi.  My name is Dave Norvell and I'm an educator.  At the time of writing this, I am about to start my seventh year teaching in the Texas public education system.  I have spent the previous six years teaching at the elementary level in grades 3-5.  I have taught in both self-contained classrooms and departmentalized classroom.  I am currently a fourth grade math teacher. 

I'm also a family man.  I have been married 5 years, have recently had my first son, and love spending time with my family. 

I love music, reading, and blogging.  I hope that this blog will become a creative outlet for me to help others. 

I love teaching and I love technology.  In today's world I realize that unless education seeks to incorporate technology in the learning process, it will quickly become irrelevant to today's students.  I want to improve in my use of technology in the classroom and I want to help others too.
